VIGIFLAP is a non-return valve designed to prevent overpressure or flames caused by an explosion in dust filters or cyclones from propagating backwards in the piping system.
The flap is kept open by a locking lever. It can be used both at the inlet and outlet of the filter. In this way, the filter can be isolated in the event of an explosion or overpressure.
If an explosion occurs, the flap closes and will remain closed, preventing the passage of flames and subsequent damages. The flap must be released manually
