Bucket elevators

Buckets elevators is usually used in vertical transportation of grain, seeds and granulated material. The transport can cause the formation of dust. Large amounts of dust can result in an explosion if exposed to an ignition source such as a flame or a spark.

Safevent offers preventative solutions specifically design to prevent explosions and fires from occurring. Our spark detectors can be mounted on your bucket elevator, where they will monitor and register sparks or flames in your transported material. If an ignition source is detected, the detectors will immediately signal our automated extinguishing system via a central control unit effectively putting out the source. We can also equip the system with an automatic switch that will halt the production plant.
