Silos
Silos are constructed and designed to store large amounts of porous material such as grain and seeds. When emptying or filling a silo, large concentrations of dust will often form. These concentration poses a risk of setting of an explosion if exposed to an ignition source such as a spark.
To prevent the silo from exploding and causing damage to the surrounding environment, we install explosion membranes that divert the blast and heatwave to a desirable location.
During normal operation dust particles is detained and prevented from escaping to the silo’s immediate surroundings. We accomplish this by installing filters within the silo.
