Smoothing

Smoothing processes can under certain circumstances generate enough heat to cause a fire or trigger an explosion. The smoothing of material produces large concentrations of dust. When an ignition source, such as a spark or a flame, comes into contact when large concentrations of dust it may trigger an explosion and a subsequent fire.

With a solution from Safevent, the risk of explosion and fires from occurring is reduced to the minimum through our preventative equipment.
Our preventative solution consists of supply and mounting of spark detection and extinguishing equipment. The spark detectors will register any sort of spark or flame and inform a central control unit which will initiate the water-based extinguishing mechanisms.
