Conveyor Belts

Conveyor belts is used to transport material used in the production and the loading and unloading of materials and goods. Conveyor belts can transport material in open or closed cabinets. The conveyors belts pose no direct risk of setting of an explosion or starting a fire. But if the conveyor belt transport inflammable or explosive material or goods it should be monitored.

Our spark detectors can be mounted on your conveyor belt, constantly monitoring your transported material and detecting sparks and flames. Our spark detectors are connected to a control unit and automatic fire extinguishing systems. This ensures, that if a spark is detected the water-based extinguishing system will automatically start fighting the ignition effectively prevention a fire or an explosion for occurring in the conveyor belts.

Should the transported material catch fire, it is important to contain it. We do this by connecting your conveyor belts to our automatic circuit breaker, that will stop the transportation of the material afire thereby containing it and preventing it from spreading to other areas.
