Our burst sensors can be mounted to our explosions panels and connected to your control unit, signalling you if the Explosion Panel opens (as it will, during an explosion).
OUR BURST SENSOR CONSIST OF:
- A brass metal housing
- A hybrid circuit
- A PTFE-ampoule
- A metal mounting frame
HOW IT WORKS
The burst sensor is attached to the explosion panel's flanges so that the ampoule protrude the explosion panel's and occupies a small amount of the space right above the explosion panel's opening point. During an explosion, the explosion panel will open and break the ampoule, which will trigger a permanent interference signal, letting your control units know that the explosion has burst.
The PTFE-ampoule is constructed to remain on the sensor if the explosion panel bursts. This prevents the pollution of your container's or silo's content
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
- PVC or PUR-insulated connection cable
