HT-250-S Rotary valves have all the positive features of the HT-250 inherited, but are also due to their more robust construction, suitable for harsh operating environments. In terms of overall dimensions and flange type S is compatible with the HT-250. These rotary valves are used as dust collection, and at the same time ‘air lock’ under dust filters and cyclones, but with the difference that it concerns higher pressure differences like in high vacuum systems (central vacuum systems).
Also, the height of the temperature or the processing of abrasive materials, may be a reason to choose the HT-250-S. As a ‘dosing unit’ these rotary valves are used under silos and bunkers. The HT-S series is suitable for a maximum capacity of 25 m³ / h at a maximum pressure of 40,000 Pa (0.4 bar).

The embodiments with PU rotor blades are suitable for a product temperature of 60°C, the embodiments with metal rotor blades to 80°C and the heat-resistant versions of up to 300°C.
HEAT RESISTANT VARIANT
The HT-S-250 is also available in an even more robust variant, called HT-S-HB-250, that is able to withstand temperatures up to 300°C. This variant has the same dimensions and specifications as the regular HT-S-250, except that it utilises an external heat resistant ball bearings and is painted in heat resistant silver paint.
