Stixx PRO is an automatic fire extinguishing sticker that can be placed near potential sources of fire. It consists of a top and a bottom plate that encapsulates a heat detector cable as well as an ignition pack and an extinguishing agent. If Stixx PRO is exposed to temperatures of 180 °C or above, the extinguishing agent will be released and extinguish the fire.
The extinguishing agent consists mainly of a potassium compund that interrupts the chemical combustion reactions in the flame by neutralising hydrogen, oxygen and hydroxide radicals. This potassium composition is 100 % non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Stixx PRO differs from the regular Stixx fire extinguishing sticker by having a lower activation temperature (180 °C and 380 °C respectively).
APPLICATION
A major advantage of the Stixx PRO is its easy installation. This is due to its small size (9.8 x 1 x 1.8 cm), its self-adhesive bottom plate and its independence on power cords. This makes the product useable in many different locations and a myriad of devices, e.g.:

- Fuse boxes
- Compressors
